CVXPY is a widely used modeling framework in Python for convex optimization.
CVXPY has become the foundation of a broader ecosystem of optimization software,
including packages for distributed optimization, nonconvex optimization,
and optimization in application areas such as finance, energy, and radiation treatment planning. These packages extend CVXPY and use convex optimization as a subroutine.
In this talk we explain the basics of CVXPY and highlight several interesting CVXPY extensions.
