Elena Licheri

Elena Licheri is a Ph.D. student in Analysis and Management of Cultural Heritage and a member of the LYNX Research Unit at IMT School for Advanced Studies, Lucca.

She studied Political Science and International Relations at LUISS University in Rome and Sciences Po in Paris. Graduating cum laude in 2013, she later obtained a Master’s degree in Governance and Management of Public Administration.

She is currently a Civil servant at the Ministry of Culture, working within the Unit responsible for implementing the National Resilience and Recovery Plan. 
Previously, she held roles such as Project Assistant at UNESCO, Liaison Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Consultant at the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies.

Member of the Working Group on "Public-Private Partnership" at the International Council of Museums (ICOM) Italy, her research interests center around cultural diplomacy and Mediterranean cooperation, creative industries and the sustainable development of rural areas through the valorization of their cultural heritage.
