Pursuing the long-term aim of creating a European network of political historians, and bearing in mind that the Dutch-Flemish Research School for Political History will organise an international PhD conference in political history in Leiden on September 4-6, 2014, meant as the first in a series, the Centre for Political History (IMT Institute for Advanced Studies Lucca-Luiss Guido Carli University Rome) organises a Doctoral workshop in political history, to be held in Lucca from the 5th to the 8th of March 2014. The aim of the workshop is to test the formula of the PhD conference to be held in Leiden, and to start building closer relationship among the people and institutions that should constitute the initiators of the European network of political historians. http://www.imtlucca.it/phd-conference-polhist
