Activity

The successful candidate will conduct EEG experiments with children with typical development and with Cochlear Implants (in the clinical setting). He/she will analyze ABR data in children with typical development and with Cochlear Implants. The successful candidate will also administer cognitive psychological tests to children (in the clinical setting) and adults with typical and atypical development. Finally, he/she will have to deal with previously analyzed fMRI data.

Profile

The candidate should possess:

Experience with the acquisition of Electroencephalogram (EEG) recording and with acquisition and analysis of fMRI data;
Experience with Auditory Brain Stem (ABR) data analysis. Experience with functional magnetic resonance data analysis. Research and clinical experience with children with atypical sensory development;
Experience with the topic of sensory deprivation and neural plasticity;
Neuropsychological training with children and adults;
Psychologist qualification and experience with test administration (e.g. cognitive tests).

Formal requirements

Master's Degree in Psychology;
Having passed the State Examination and being registered in the Register of Psychologists;
Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
