Accreditation, Ordinary Financing Funds for universities, budgetary requirements: these are just some of the topics covered during the latest meeting of the Administrative Directors of the six Public University Schools for Higher Education and Research with a special statue, held at the IMT School last Tuesday October 8th and Wednesday October 9th, 2019.
The San Francesco campus has hosted once again one of the assemblies that the Italian special statute Schools (the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies – Pisa, the Scuola Normale in Pisa, the University School for Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia, the Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI) in l’Aquila, and the SISSA – Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati in Trieste) periodically organize to discuss models and experiences and to facilitate shared functional actions that, while tailored to each individual School, all correspond to needs that are much different than those of generalist universities.
Beyond the Administrative Director of the IMT School, Alessia Macchia, the meeting saw the participation of Gabriele Rizzetto (Secretary General of the SISSA), Luca Bardi (Managing Director of the Sant’Anna School), Franco Corona (Director General of the IUSS) and Aldo Tommasin (General Secretary of the Scuola Normale Superiore), who were accompanied by a delegation of representatives from the various Schools who deal with the topics addressed in the meeting.
The second day of meetings was also held in the Sacrestia, within the San Francesco Complex, and was dedicated to the analysis of economic-financial performance, organized by Professor Giovanni Coran, SISSA.
