AFNI Bootcamp 2019

3 June 2019 to 7 June 2019
San Francesco Complex - Piazza San Francesco 19

The IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca organizes an AFNI Bootcamp, as a satellite event of the upcoming Annual Meeting of the Organization for Human Brain Mapping (OHBM Rome 2019). This is a course designed to teach participants the details of volume- and surface-based FMRI analysis using AFNI and SUMA software (for any additional information, please visit http://afni.nimh.nih.gov/).

The program is a 5-day intensive workshop, that includes lectures on pre- and post processing of FMRI data (image registration, intra- and inter-subject statistical analysis with linear regression, deconvolution, ANOVA) hands on sessions (covering statistical analysis, ROI drawing, volume rendering, surface mapping, etc.), and seminars on the basic principles of FMRI physics and experiment design. Please note that the course is aimed at people who are already doing FMRI, and it is not an introduction to how FMRI works - it is an introduction to the use of AFNI and SUMA for analysis of FMRI data.

Drs. Robert W. Cox, Gang Chen and Paul Taylor, from the Scientific and Statistical Computing Core of the NIMH Intramural Research Program, will be conducting the workshop.
