Profile

IMT Lucca invites applications for a Visiting Professor in cognitive neuroscience and neuroimaging with experience of pharmacological probing in healthy and neuropsychiatric disorders. Candidates should have an outstanding research profile, extensive international experience, as well as experience in international institutions, and have a significant profile and research activities on cognitive neuroscience, neuroscientific data processing, neuroimaging data analysis, pharmacological modulation, even related to psychiatric disorders and neurological disorders of memory and attention.

Activity

The position involves qualified research activities in the topics of cognitive neuroscience, neuroimaging and pharmacological probing of experimental tasks with the CCSN PhD Students and MOMILAB fellows; the visiting fellow could also be involved in teaching activities, such as masterclasses, seminars, etc.

Formal requirements

Ph.D. degree;
the candidate must have a curriculum with a suitable scientific background for carrying out research and teaching activities in neuroimaging data acquisition and analysis with pharmacological modulation, also in neuropsychiatric disorders;
the candidate must have an excellent record of high-impact publications in neuroimaging data acquisition and analysis with pharmacological modulation, also in neuropsychiatric disorders;
excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English.
